Finally, i recorded a test run for my 5 year old dream of starting a podcast. It helps that all of my twitter homies have all jumped on the band wagon, so it’s cool to see a little family of podcasters/artists working together.
Check it out on sound cloud, it’s called The Cave Drawings Podcast. We cover all things In the manner of storytelling. It’s NSFW, but when it starts, It wont be.
I’m working again, thank god. It’s not ideal, but it gives me structure, and can lead to a well payed and benefit providing career, if responsibility of life requires it.
I have another road trip in two weeks. Barcade in Philly with the Paperkeg crew. I’ll be meeting Mark and Jonesy for the first time(hopefully), but thanks to Brad coming with me, I might actually be alert enough to have real conversations with everyone.
Book is coming together a little slower then I would like, but its moving. It’s hard to write sometimes because I’m aware of my artistic limitations. My drawing partner and I will hopefully be meeting up soon, so that will be fun. I’d like to have finished panels to show the people at Barcade, so that I can get a feel from real comic readers on the progress.
My brother was here for a week. It was a complete surprise, but I needed it. He really made me consider moving there. There is only one real reason I won’t. And it’s a terrible reason.
Question of the week:
How do you prove yourself to someone who doesn’t think you have anything to give?
